Covering the stain with a paper bag

1. Cover the stain

Place the paper bag over the wax stain on the carpet.

Applying heat with an iron

2. Apply heat

Set the iron to medium heat. Iron the paper bag over the stain in short, quick strokes. Lift the bag every few seconds to allow the wax to transfer onto the paper. Avoid leaving the iron in one place for too long to prevent damaging the carpet.

3. Repeat as necessary

Continue moving the paper bag and ironing in this manner until all the wax has been lifted off the carpet and transferred to the paper. Once the stain is completely removed, you'll notice the paper bag is now covered in wax, effectively saving your carpet.
