Wake Up Your Senses: DIY Coffee Air Freshener for Your Home!

The rich, comforting aroma of coffee has a magical way of perking up our senses and creating a cozy atmosphere. Personally, I enjoy having this comforting scent linger in every corner of my house, from the kitchen to the bedroom.

So, I am going to do a series of posts showing you how I get this gorgeous smell wafting around my home.

Let’s start with my first Coffee Air Freshener idea using pantihose.

Tools and Materials:

  • Stockings
  • Yarn
  • Coffee (choose the ones that smell best to you)
  • Plastic cup or funnel

Make your own funnel

1. Make a Funnel (Optional)

First things first, if you don't have a funnel, create one using a plastic cup. I have no idea where all my funnels disappeared, so here's how I managed it.

Pierce the bottom of the cup with a skewer and use scissors to cut off the bottom.

This will help you pour the grounds into the stocking without creating a big mess.

If you have a funnel, simply use that instead.

2. Cut Your Stockings

Next, cut one of the foot sections from a pair of stockings.

3. Pour in the Coffee

Now, it's time to pour coffee into the stockings. Choose your favorite flavor, something you truly enjoy.

Slide the open end of the stocking over the funnel.

Use a spoon to fill the stocking with your grounds.

2. Tie Up Stocking

Knot the open end of the stocking.

Add a decorative bow

Cuten it up with some ribbon or twine. I used t-shirt yarn.

You can discreetly place these in various locations to infuse your home with a delightful coffee aroma.

I placed one in a decorative milk jug above my water machine.

They are also excellent for eliminating odors from your shoes or placing in your pantry to repel insects.

I hope you found this Coffee Air Freshener project as enjoyable and fragrant as I did!
