There are also two other countdown DIYs available and you can get the full instructions and all of the free printables here...  Three DIY Christmas Countdowns with Free Printables.

Supplies You'll Need to Make a Christmas Countdown

To start, you'll need a mini Christmas tin and two puzzle cubes. I found both at Dollar Tree. The tin measures 5.625 x 2.5 x 4.5 inches and has a top handle. The puzzle cubes are 2.5″ and two of them fit perfectly into the tin.

You'll also need scissors, Mod Podge, a foam applicator, and the free art for this DIY (link above).

How to Make a Christmas Countdown

1. Print the 'Days Until Christmas art'

Start by printing out the 'Days Until Christmas' art for the tin at 100% (actual) size on regular printer paper.

2. Cut and stick the art inside the tin lid

Cut the art out and apply it to the inside lid of your tin with Mod Podge, as shown above. To finish, add a coat of Mod Podge over the art.

3. Print the art for the numbers cubes

Now to make the number cubes. Print out the art for the number cubes on regular printer paper.

4. Glue the numbers to the cubes

Cut the numbers out and use Mod Podge to glue them to the cubes. Coat each number over top with Mod Podge to seal them.

Tip: I recommend working one or two sides at a time letting things dry completely before going to the next side.
