Keep a wreath from scratching a door?

I live on a hill, a very windy hill. I would love to put a wreath on my front door but it scratches when the wind is strong.

I hot glue felt on the back
If possible you could get some felt and cut to the size of the wreath. Glue it to the back of the wreath. It doesn't have to be perfect as no one will see it. Don't use a glue gun as the sun on the door will make the glue melt. Before hanging, put double sided tape on the felt to stick to the door after it is hung...hope this helps
I use a wreath hanger with felt glued on the back.
