Glaze Paint for Walls
Glaze Paint for Walls: How Can I Achieve Stunning Effects?
I have a plain white wall in my living area that I would like to turn into a feature with a glaze paint effect. What techniques, tools, or products do you recommend for achieving this?
I'm particularly interested in understanding the process of using glaze paint, including surface preparation and application techniques. Any tips for achieving different finishes or creating visual texture would be appreciated.
Thanks so much

if you're using a latex paint, you should use a latex wash or acrylic glaze. If your base coat is alkyd, use the oil glaze.
Hope these help

There is a veritable slew of paint glazing products out there and generally that’s all you’d need along with a color paint if the glaze isn’t already a color. You can use a brush or a sponge to apply. Do an image search on Google for looks you like and then you can emulate the look. Have a test board painted the same as your wall to try out techniques.

I like the faux marble effect. I use a roller and 2 colors of paint to achieve it. First I base painted the room then used a split roller. Check out the Woolie on Amazon. It's a really simple process.
