o remove existing blinds or shades, first find the plastic tab at the top corner of the panel. Use it to grab the blind or shade and pull it straight out (1). Then slide the side opposite the plastic tab over and lift it off of the mounting pin.
The blinds in the windows of my home are metal and do not have that tab in the upper corners... recommendations?
Remove the top cover to access the brackets.
Locate the brackets
Pop them loose.
I imagine every manufacturer has a different way these go together. Do you know the brand? If so, look up online or contact them for instructions. If not, it might take some sleuthing and trial and error to figure it out.
If you told us what kind of blinds they are you would get answers that are better suited to your situcation.

Some of the blinds have to be tilted to remove. They are attached with strong metal clips you can't reach until you remove the blind itself. Pull the blind up all of the way. Grab on either side and tip the top part towards the window and pull. The tension of pulling will release the blind then you can take off the metal bracket with a screwdriver.
Hi Bobby, hope this helps you out.

Hi Bobby: You should be able to remove them with only a screw driver. First, take off the slats by opening the tab a bit and pulling the slat straight down. Then, rock the cross bar a bit to take it off and then just unscrew the header brackets.
However, if it's a roller blind, check this video:
